ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Herbie Treehead is a very funny man who has done a lot of unusual things.

One of the greatest things he's managed to do was to produce in an album of original music for kids and adults. The album is made up of songs Herbie found in his head and assembled to accompany his theatre production 'Cherub's Garden'. This was a hit at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival two years running and transferred to the Royal National Theatre, London.

The album was put together in 1998, with the assistance of Robert Lee. Ever since then, Herbie has been gathering an underground following through appearances at the Glastonbury Festival and other significant world events.

A batch of CDs were made and distributed several years ago. Bootlegs of 'sleepy songs and not very sleepy songs' have been circling the world ever since.

Now, you can visit Herbie at www.herbieetreehead.com

The noisy song had my one year old neice dancing for joy and giggling.
We discovered Herbie Treehead at Glastonbury 2007. My husband and I were soaked and covered in mud, but we became entranced. We decided to buy the CD for my niece.

The noisy song had my one year old neice dancing for joy and giggling, time after time, with the result that a whole room of adults then starting dancing and laughing with her.

Imaginative and wonderful lyrics, and great musicianship. A real gem. Should become a global phenomenon.

one of the best kid\'s CDs on the planet
We saw Herbie in 1999 at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival when this CD was still relatively new and were knocked over. Bought one after the show and played it in our rental car touring all through the Highlands singing along. It is awesome!

Well...
What to say about this cd. I was given a copy by my friend about five years ago I think, I can't remember when exactally and I still love the songs. My entire family and most of my other friends belive I am mad, as are the songs, but I still sit in my room, writing and listening to them. A brilliant cd with great songs for whatever mood you are in at the moment!
