Album Notes
Monday mornings - a mélange of leftover weekends, of fresh beginnings, of creating jump-starts to the perpetual motion of life. Thus is born the latest album of original music by Dr. Herb Silverstein. Let your imagination take you down the streets of each song. Each tune speaks the feelings behind their own title. Music comes alive with the expertise of professionals who participated in this special production. Musical pros include Marty Morell, drummer with Bill Evans. On tenor sax is the powerful Jeff Rupert. Richard Drexler, Herb's longtime collaborator and friend lays the foundation with the bass, and rising star LaRue Nickelson sends his guitar strings into perfect counterbalance with the sweet melodies.

Trained in classical piano, Herb Silverstein did not jump into the jive of jazz until later in life. Today, he has 12 titles, many of which are filled with his original compositions. He has played with the likes of Danny Gottlieb, Bob Berg, Jack Wilkins, Michael Royal and many other fabulous players from all over.
