Album Notes
"Singing on a Star". With warmth and humor, this innovative quartet's latest collection blends infectious energy with a traditional heart. Rich vocal harmonies and instrumentals will have you humming and singing along with foot stompers, ballads and treasures from America's past.

"Hey Mom!" is a Bay Area quartet of professional musicians (and moms) dedicated to performing music that appeals to children as well as parents. With sparkling vocal harmonies and instruments including steel drum, banjo, guitar, fiddle, mandolin, kazoo, hand drum and harmonica, they weave a wide variety of styles and textures into their songs. Their music ranges from traditional to modern folk, to jazz, to south of the border, to just plain fun, often dealing with topics like friendship, respect for life, and caring for the environment.

Since 1999 Hey Mom! has become a highly sought-after group for school assemblies and library programs. Concert themes include the Civil Rights Movement, Earthday, Bugs and Beasts, Caring and Self Respect, and the Winter Holidays.
