Album Notes
From his native homeland, Scotland, Brian Caldwell of Glasgow leads Highland Way on a musical journey through traditional and modern Celtic melodies. Joining Brian on guitar, bodhran, and vocals, are Heloise Love, Paul Graham Castellanos on fiddle, mandolin and varied strings, and Richard Gordon Heinz on bass and vocals. Rousing songs and haunting ballads blend with instrumental medleys and touches of whimsy in performances featuring traditional Celtic music from Scotland and Ireland, with some added original and contemporary Celtic melodies.

The charismatic lead vocalist Brian Caldwell is well known for his energetic and driving rhythm guitar...and his wonderful ability to charm any crowd. Arranger, vocalist, and talented instrumentalist, Richard Gordon Heinz is the musical foundation of the band. Paul Graham Castellanos, master of an incredible array of stringed instruments, adds a vibrant cross section of sound from animated Celtic fiddle to classical guitar. Completing the band is Heloise Love. A gifted solo artist in her own right, her angelic lead vocals and sultry harmonies round out this incredible mix of musical talent.

Brian Caldwell
Entertainer, MC, musician, singer, sound engineer, producer, and the man to talk to about all things Scottish. Brian Caldwell is a busy man, bringing his enthusiasm, good humor, and great musicianship to venues throughout the country.
Brian grew up in Glasgow, Scotland and having specialized in sound engineering at the prestigious Strathclyde University, headed on the road. Now residing in North San Diego County in California, he regularly plays solo, or as a duo with the Clachan Boys, or with his four piece ensemble, Highland Way. Performing Scottish and Irish music is his specialty but is known to pull out some classic covers from time to time. It’s all about having a good time.

Paul Castellanos
On fiddle, guitar, mandolin, banjo and virtually any other stringed instrument. In his professional and completely unassuming manner, Paul has played with many many big names in Celtic Music. The Chieftains, The Young Dubliners, and Glen Cornick of Jethro Tull fame, to name but a few. Paul is also a part of the Clachan Boys duo and is beyond doubt one of the best Celtic instumentalists in the business. Highland Way are overjoyed to have him as one of the team.

Richard Gordon Heinz
A superb vocalist and multi-instrumentalist, Richard is also an accomplished song writer, studio musician and dynamic performer. With his resounding baritone and amazing arranging abilities, Richard is the backbone of Highland Way.

Heloise Love
Vocalist, guitar player, percussionist, penny whistler, Heloise performs solo or with the Celtic band Highland Way. Heloise is also a children's book illustrator and author published through Wee Celtic Tales.
