ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
High Park Society (HPS) are an indie pop band formed in Toronto in 2015. Founded by Frank Babic, they are currently working on material for their first EP. They are often compared to such acts as the Housemartins, Talking Heads, Morrissey, Supergrass and Belle & Sebastian.

The name "High Park Society" comes as a blend between the tongue-in-cheek society reference, and the High Park area in Toronto.

The first HPS single "70s Child" is a fun, bouncy track talking about the irony of the Gen X generation now taking responsibility for things.
