ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Hippotrip was born in 1997 and consisted of Herman Heggen (drums), Steinar Kristoffersen (guitars, vocals) and Anders Kristoffersen (bass, vocals), playing psychedelic pop/rock inspired by the likes of early Pink Floyd as well as Radiohead. A fourth member, Bjarne Raaum, was eventually added to the mix, bringing with him his distinct sound. The band played a number of gigs and released an EP entitled "You Can Make Your Own Experiences" in 2001. One piece from this EP called "System Failure", was featured on the "Norske band i hus og hytte"-collection released by Tarkus Magazine (according to progrock.no). In 2002 the band was put to rest only to be reformed as Racer Age. In 2011 Hippotrip will resurrect to celebrate the 10 year anniversary of "You Can Make Your Own Experience".
