Album Notes
The Hong Kong Welsh Male Voice Choir was formed in 1978 to encourage and sustain the Welsh choral tradition in Asia, whilst providing enjoyment for the International community in that region.
In spite of the inevitable problems associated with an ever changing expatriate membership, the Choir has maintained and developed a high standard of performance and is in constant demand throughout South East Asia.
It has been fortunate in the calibre of those elected to run the Choir over the years since its formation, with a succession of excellent Chairmen, Secretaries, Accompanists, and Musical Directors. The pianist on this recording is Yvonne Carr (A Mus. A); an Australian of exceptional talent. The Musical Director, John E. Hayden Edwards, BA, B, Mus., has led the Choir from strength to strength over six fruitful years.
The songs selected for this album are a fair reflection of the repertoire the Choir has sung over the last fifteen years in concerts both in Hong Kong and abroad. We hope you approve of our choice.

A great CD from a great choir - well done boys!
Lots of my favourites on this CD , great for listening to in the car, very nostalgic when you are a long way from home
