ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Ho Bich Ngoc’s third album is a beautiful compilation of famous Vietnamese songs that have become everlasting favourites for a broad audience. While these songs have been covered by other artists in versions that come close to the original, Ngoc’s remake shows loyalty to her own unique style, expressed by a modern touch that she gives to all the songs in this album. The result is a harmonious mix of old-time Vietnamese melancholy blended with the freshness and power of Ngoc’s wonderful voice, which dominates the songs and guides through the album thanks to a very subtle mix between music and emotions.
‘Ngoc‘ as a title for her third album is as expressive as it is symbolic. ‘Ngoc’ embodies where Ngoc stands with her career, the simplicity of the songs, lyrics and the style differing clearly from earlier works. Similar to her style, also Ngoc’s voice has become more mature. Easy to absorb these music is definitely here to last, as will Ho Bich Ngoc’s music career.
