Album Notes
Hokaha is the 2001 Worcester/Boston Phoenix Readers Pick Winner for Best Hard Rock/Metal Act.

"The group's underlying groove is apparent on its initial limited-release CD", Brian Goslow, The Worcester Phoenix

A great mixture of tunes on their self-titled debut demo.
NEW Hokaha CD. The band is putting finishing touches on it's latest CD, titled "Idiom". It features 8 tracks of Hokaha music. Audio will be posted here, soon.

NEW to the Band:
Joe Luce on drums and
guitarist David Beccia, of the band Left of Heaven.

The bands new sound should still appeal to fans of Hokaha's initial lineup, as well as attract new fans.

Next Gig: May 11, 2002 9:00pm at the Lucky Dog Music Hall. 89 Green Street, Worcester MA 508-363-1888

Soulful, passionate, yet exuberant & powerful
I find it soulful & passionate, yet exuberant & powerful. A unique blend of sounds that can only be labeled as Rock 'n' Roll. They have an idea to go beyond the limits of other bands and this with their experience is a perfect match. A word of their live performances: A raw & unrefined eclectic mix of the elements of rock & roll, hardcore, blues, alternative, coming straight at you with no hesitation or bullshit. A genuine 'get your shit off your chest' rousing and straightforward performance. Check 'em out if you can.

Ok, gave Sandflats a listen, and I like it. Good break from people writing music lately with just screaming vocals and powerchords, or nonstop techno.

Keep up the good work,
-Brent, Mirror's Eye
