ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
The Hollow Density lads are at it again with a new CD of original rock music – Keeper of the Peace. The band is back to their rock roots from which they rarely stray for long. As in all their music, they draw from many sources and inspirations. The songs vary from the ominous sci fi of Spider Fire, to the Floydian harmonies of Cross the Line, to the raging floods of Ellicott City, MD in Underneath Patapsco, to the streets of Shakespeare’s Verona in the epic title track Keeper of the Peace.
Never without a sense of humor in their music Convenience Fee delivers a caustic appraisal of the leech-like service charge. Rotten Kid tells of a man going mad at the annoying antics of his 6 year old neighbor. Asylum is a fragile tale of a lifelong inmate.
Themes of madness, disaster, greed, and apathy slide through the album with ease making it crackle with an intensity very much at home in today’s society. Terry’s music sets the atmosphere through which Scott weaves his tales and musings. They have taken their craft to a new level in recent years and this is the next logical step in their musical journey. Obviously Hollow Density really enjoy making their music and it shows in this album of unique, perceptive and rocking songs!
