ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
As a result of the popularity achieved as the star of the Warhol/Morissey film "Trash", Holly, (nee Harold), turned to performing in the N.Y. cabaret scene of the time. This led, ultimately, to two triumphant tours of London in 1978. One of these performances was captured and is presented here after having been thought lost. Holly's entertaining mix of banter and music captivated London'e cabaret critics who extolled the "excellent material" and found Holly "relentlessly fascinating."
Musical direction for the act was by N.Y. jazzman, Paul Serrato, who made a three piece ensemble sound like a Broadway pit band.
Holly lives on as one of the characters in Lou Reed's "Walk on the Wild Side."
