Album Notes
Home Again - Songs of the 21st Century Veteran Experience was born out of a band of musicians selected to perform at the 2012 Scoops for Troops Benefit in Eagan Minnesota. This event is part of the Tribute to the Troops, an organization of dedicated volunteers, supporters and participants that have joined together to raise awareness to the sacrifices made by America’s fallen heroes and their families. Some of the musicians are vets, some civilians, all are Americans. These artists accepted the challenge to write songs that speaks of the modern veteran experience. The songwriters, producers, and musicians contributed these recordings, donating their time and recording costs to this album in memory of all our fallen and in honor of all who served.

Scoops for Troops is an idea that was started by the mothers of two fallen soldiers, who met at the Fort Snelling National Cemetery, wanting to do something to mark the anniversary of their sons' deaths. Now in its fifth year, the event supports and brings awareness for the families of the fallen from the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan.
