Album Notes
Homebrew is an American rock band from Santa Cruz, California that brewed their reputation playing clubs and bars in the Bay Area. Their debut album, Bashin', features members Matt Kotila, Craig Underwood, Alison Ducky Maupin, James Taylor, and Nel Barrow. Each member draws from different influences to arrive at a cohesive whole. This analogue recording is a culmination of songs developed between 2010 and 2017.

Recorded at Real To Reel Studios with Gary Souza. Mixed by Joe DiRocc. Mastered by Brandon Fitzgerald. Album art by April Tziganuk, Bergen Franklin, and Alison "Ducky" Maupin.

In 2016, the group toured the Pacific Northwest to perform in the former stomping grounds of acts such as Nirvana. Following the tour, a string of local television spots at KQTV, hosted by Phil Harmonic, allowed their music to reach a broader online audience.

Featured in both 2017 and 2018, Homebrew performed unplugged for San Fransisco’s Mutiny Radio shortly after competing in the 2017 Bay Area’s Best Emerging Artist Competition.

“Alison has like two sets of lungs, she just projects incredibly, incredibly much... This band inspires greatness in people. They have a very enthusiastic fan now.” - Pablo Yale of Mutiny Radio 2017

In March, 2018 Homebrew performed a live acoustic set on KPIG international radio.
