Album Notes
What I did after the untimely demise of The Jongleurs - locked the acoustic guitars in the cupboard and polished up the electrics to play interweaving lines (generally) with a minimum of wanky soloing (OK, there are a couple, but they're not wanky, promise).

Songs about the guy who could never say no to pills (Goodbye Mr Pills) and the person who just wants to live a normal life and realise the simple dreams the rest of us take for granted but, by accident of birth, can't (The Dream's Malfunction), a couple who always fight because they're in a loop they seemingly can't get out of and one of them just isn't a very nice person (Choose Your Weapons) and the mysterious friendship held together by something that happened long, long ago which neither can get over but neither can talk about (Is It Too Soon?). Etc. Exploring the lives and relationships of friends, random blow-ins and partners, one track at a time.

When asked "Who do you sound like?" by a well-meaning person who thinks there's an easy answer, I have to say "I don't really know!" There are things you can click on on the page to have a listen yourself. You tell me! I get "Television" from the guitars, any number of random vocalists from Leonard Cohen (I wish!) to Ian Anderson to because of the voice - and some listeners are exasperated because I tend to veer a bit, stylistically. Oh well! I just do what I want to do.
