Album Notes
Jam Rock by the guitarists & rhythm section of the Original Hooligan Band of Northampton, MA. Disbanded for other projects (Guitarist/ songwriter Don LaSala as sound engineer for bands such as NRBQ; Guitarist/ songwriter John Stevens in various bands) from 1981 until 1989 , when they joined up again with Bill Klock on Drums and Don Lawson on Bass decided to do a quality recording of some of their songs in a guitar band format, to save some of the spirit of their cult fav band. This album became the seed that allowed the Hooligan Band to regroup in the early 1990s for a series of annual reunion gigs in Western Mass. The Hooligan Band, including LaSala, Stevens & Klock, continues to record and play a few shows every year, showcasing original jam rock, grounded in the a driving rock tradition unusual for the genre. Produced by Don LaSala, Mixed by LaSala & Rick King; Mastered by Marc Senasac @ Rocket Labs, San Francisco
