Dark as a dungeon...and damp as the dew
From the first time I heard Rita Hosking and Cousin Jack, I've been hooked. A voice and songs in the Hazel Dickens/Delia Bell tradition, Rita brings the sound of the old days in a modern, youthful package. She and Sean are in a place all their own at the the bottom of an actual mine in this CD-ROM. The sparse instrumentation and only their two voices sounding lonely and wonderful at the same time is infectious.
A great addition to anyone's collection, only surpassed by encountering Rita Hosking and Cousin Jack live at a venue near you.
They never disappoint.
