ABOUT THIS ALBUM


Album Notes
Founded in 2015, the Houston Brass Quintet is a permanent part of the Houston Performing Arts with a focus on diverse music genres, collaboration in the arts community, arts education, and service to the Alzheimer’s Dementia community. Currently in 2018, the Houston Brass Quintet has been featured at TMEA, Klein Concert Series, and collaborates with many local churches and ensembles. HBQ has received the Saengerbund Grant for two years, awarded the Burkes and Bagley Second Prize in 2016, and is funded yearly for contemporary recording projects. The Houston Brass Quintet is currently sponsored by the Village School, who provides rehearsal space.
