ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Blue August 59 is Howard's 3rd cd project. The song by the same title is based on Howard comparing his calling to John 17:26 where Jesus was brought into the world to make his Father known more and more. Howard's messages and songs have always had one key theme and that is "turning eyes toward a loving Heavenly Father." Howard has lived all written in his songs and has the maturity to minister them to the listener in a way that makes you feel like you can relate and receive the forgiveness and healing you need knowing you aren't in this world.
Howard rocks out in contemporary and other genres of music such as rock, blues and doo wop. His music is eclectic and as varied as Howard is. You certainly can't place him in a box.
Blue August 59 is a project certain to minister and have you rocking. He has Blues Hall of Fame member Darrell Mansfield on harmonica and rocking out on Fresh Water! Enjoy this album that celebrates Howard's coming into the world for a specific calling!
