ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
I am the very model of a scientific troubador,
Although my voice suggests, to most, an urgent need to lube a door.
Irreverent environment, and/or defiance in my genes,
Led me to writing doggerel and songs of science in my teens.

I picked up the guitar midway through college and eventually,
Recorded songs I'd written over almost half a century.
Now some are scientific, and some others are political, -itical, itical, Ah!
There isn't an occasion for which I can't write a ditticle!

I get invited 'round the world to lecture, but it's safe to say,
I'd better not show up without an instrument that I can play,
You haven’t heard me on the air, or seen me on the tube before,
But I’m the very model of a scientific troubador.
