Album Notes
This is our fourth release in less than three years. I guess you could say we are "in the groove" of writing and recording together. We had always hoped to be prolific in the same way that Lennon/McCartney were, so maybe this proves we are off to a good start. From the beginning of our writing sessions, we focused on making all the songs more of a duet than we have in the past. All but one song feature both of our voices together and we feel the result has a depth and maturity we'd always been striving for. We also had some great players join us in the studio that helped us get closer to the sound we hear in our heads. Heather always said, "We are one fiddle player away from larger success". Thanks to Jordi Kleiner and Jeff Teppema, we are one step closer now. Jim Livas, Tony Meadors and David Mack did a great job with drums, bass and accordion. If you've liked what we have done in the past, we know you are going to love this new music. We spent an enormous amount of time writing, recording and arranging each song. We began in early 2014 and are finally able to share it with you on January 1, 2015. A new year, a new CD and a new hope for the coming year. Enjoy! - Tom & Heather
