ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Hydrogen Arm was formed in 2007 in Gainesville, Florida. Incubated within the active Gainesville experimental music scene, Hydrogen Arm performed a series of shows over the course of four years characterized by an ever-changing sound and a strong improvisational streak. This recording contains material gathered during the last two years of the group's existence.

"Reserve" combines sounds drawn from many sources -- from the environmental and instrumental, to the natural and synthetic. The sounds are woven together via live improvisation to create spaces filled with haunting, melancholic, and at times tense moments. The core of this album is a four-part suite of songs titled Reserve.
