ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
This track Features Dave Eggar from New York, the Cellist who features on "Viva La Vita" by Coldplay, "Marry Me" by Train and "Bad Religion" by Frank Ocean. Dave Eggar has performed worldwide as a solo cellist and pianist. A virtuoso of many styles, Dave has performed and recorded with various artists including, Beyoncé, Bon Jovi, Evanescence, The Who, Pearl Jam, Tony Bennett, Josh Groban, Fall Out Boy, Kathleen Battle, Ray Lamontagne, Frank Ocean, Corinne Bailey Rae, Foreigner and many more.

Grug and Micko (Hype Duo) were lucky enough to be put on the same bill as Dave Eggar for "Rock the Boat 2018", Dave was performing with Foreigner at the time and happened to stumble across a Hype Duo gig. The boys got chatting and Dave joined Hype Duo on their next 3 performances. They had a great sound and packed out the room every time they performed. After the gigs Dave returned to New York and Grug and Micko kept in touch. After writing "Younger" the boys thought strings would be perfect for this track. Knowing it was a long shot, the boys thought they would see if Dave would be interested, they sent through the track and Dave replied "I'd love to". Dave checked himself into a studio in New York and the rest is history.

If you only listen to one Hype Duo track make it this one. It has history, a taste of America and a truth that we all face. Who knows it might inspire you to quit your job, sell your car and chase the dream you always had.
