ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
These guys put the Jazz back into Gypsy Jazz. Swinging standard tunes given a fresh airing with hot playing and lot's of off the cuff jazz playing that makes them stand out amongst the many combos of this nature. They are all committed jazz men and whilst happy to play in the idiom they are not copying anyone but bring their own infectious energy to the music with a jazz sensibility. A lot of ensemble playing with the violin and guitar improvising simultaneously makes for interesting listening as opposed to just taking it in turns to solo.
