ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
"11" is a new musical that weaves together the lives of those affected by war over the past century, challenging and inspiring us to stand up for what we believe in without crossing the line from humanity to cruelty. It tells the stories of Carla and her son Charlie in World War I; Helena and Lukas in Auschwitz and Tariq and Sheza in New York on 9/11. What starts as passion and desire to fight for one's country often ends in destruction, death and devastation for those left behind. But still the human spirit shines through and ultimately the hope of peace remains.

The show was performed in the Edinburgh Festival Fringe for 3 weeks in 2011.
A very thought provoking production with a really strong score by Ian Hammond Brown that worked very well with the piece. What’s On Stage Review – 4 Stars ****
