ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
An album of duets from two British composers, Ian Ritchie and John Ashton Thomas. The music was recorded completely live at Candle Studios, London. Most of the tracks were improvised with no previous conception of what was to be played. A couple of the pieces had sketch melodies, but were for the most part spontaneous compositions. The duo has played extensively around bars, clubs and galleries mainly in London. They performed at the 2011 Glastonbury festival.
