Album Notes
If ever there was a pull-no-punches, heart-on-the-sleeve, B.S.-free rock band, Portland, Oregon-based quintet I Can Lick Any Sonofabitch in the House is that band.

From the band that shouted "Fuck Fred Phelps and the Westboro Baptist Church", in the song "Westbrook Baptist Church", standing up for unheard voices everywhere that detest Fred Phelps and the Westboro Baptist Church’s godhatesfags.com website and general attitude towards those different then them. While also speaking out against the current presidential administration ("Things That Fail"), senseless murders ("Rachel Corrie"), rock stars ("The Ballad of Courtney Taylor-Taylor), and gun control (Dear Mr. Heston). I Can Lick Any Sonofabitch in the House may not be as poetic as Dylan or as accessible as Springsteen, but their gut-wrenching, in-your-face approach gets the message across none-the-less.

With three studio albums out now via Portland-based indie In Music We Trust Records - 2002's "Creepy Little Noises", 2004's "Put Here To Bleed", and 2005's "Menace" - fans have cherished the studio records, but recognized that the energy of their live show has yet to be captured on disc.

Until now.

I Can Lick Any Sonofabitch in the House’s "Live At Dante’s" (In Music We Trust Records) is the truest representation of their live sound that you can find on record.

That’s because it is truly a live record, mistakes, lyrical deviation, pre-song banter, and all, recorded at their favorite Portland, Oregon club, Dante’s, a club that has supported them since their inception in 2002.

Including fan favorites off their three studio albums, as well as a new song, "Scream", from their forthcoming full-length (in 2007), and longtime live favorite "Rockin’ in the Free World" (finally available on an SOB record, after many a fan’s request). "Live At Dante’s" offers up unadulterated I Can Lick Any Sonofabitch in the House and their brand of rock like it’s meant to be heard: loud, outspoken, and in a club.

Look for I Can Lick Any Sonofabitch in the House to tour relentlessly throughout the winter and spring to support the live record, before entering the studio this summer to record their next studio album.

Hot damn!
This disc absolutely smokes. If this is indicative of the sonic boom of I Can Lick Any Sonofabitch In The House's live show, I cannot wait for the day when I get to see them live. That day will be a glorious day. Until then, I have this disc to kick my ass.

Incredible Live Album
This is what you expect from this type of music. I haven't heard a good live album in a long time but would highly recommend these guys. I can't wait until they come to NC.

You think you've heard live music?
A band that is what live music should and can be is captured about as well as possible on this CD. A great CD for a fan and also for someone who is not familiar with SOB. I can't stop listening to it!

Makes me wanna walk a mud hole dry!
CDBABY told me to try this CD on my CDBABY page and man they were right. I am really feeling this music here! I bet you guys destroy it live. You might can lick any SOB in the house, but I not this ole boy. Cause listening to this makes me wanna stomp a mud hole and walk it dry. I hope our paths cross soon.... keep rockin hard!!
