ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Ichmael

For many years Reggae music has impacted the world. Artists such as Bob Marley, Peter Tosh, Dennis Brown just to name a few, have contributed greatly to the music industry. Now we have another in our midst, with the arrival of Ichmael we can only wonder what the future holds, with his words of wisdom and truth for all, his message is powerful.

Born in kingston Jamaica young Ichmael sang in his church choir with the masses and was later influenced by the writings of Bob Marley, which led him to develop his own conscious Reggae based music.

Ichmael has been singing professionally for eight years. his first album "just like that" made him popular on the Reggae scene, with performances nationally and internationally, he earned himself acclaim and respect in the music industry.

Ichmael's new album "Set Times" is now on the move, the first single "Troding To Mt Zion" (track 4) on the cd, has been getting allot of airtime from South Florida radio stations.

Ichmael's ambition is to have his new cd played worldwide, delivering a positive message to those in need of enlightenment and hope, uplifting them and making a difference in their lives.

This highly energetic artist will captivate you with his unique voice and his words of truth, which are based totally on his life's experience and the word of Jah.

Ichmael---- "Set Times" you need to hear it!

Incredable, deep, and soothing
With Reggea heading more and more to the mainstream, its hard to find emerging artists in the field that can still hold true to the original sounds of Reggea, Raga, and Dub. Well, The Reggea Superstar Singer Ichmael certainly outperforms any maintream performance, and many traditional artists. With his mellow soothing voice, and enchantingly deep lyrics, commonly reffering to Yah and spiritualism, this album, song after song, takes you to Eutopia. Even for those , like myself, that avoid spiritualistic music, will find themselves floating into a deep river of contemplation, compelling you to dwell in the mysteries of life and souls, and everything in between. I highly recommend this album, even to non reggea fans, as it will not only tickle your music bone, but also knock some of the cobwebbs out of our complacent minds.
