ABOUT THIS ALBUM

THE COVENANT ~ Taking Reggae to a Higher Level

Ichmael takes reggae to a higher level with THE COVENANT, his third album-to-date. THE COVENANT carries you on a journey, which focuses on the Covenant between the Twelve Tribes of Israel and the Almighty Creator, the tribulations faced today in modern times, and reminders of how we were instructed to worship the Almighty.
It is Truth represented in lyrical form, backed by a heavy bass ("When I Rise Up"), upliftment ("Hold On to Your Dreams"), and a wake-up call for the People of the Covenant, complemented by a haunting acoustic guitar ("Twelve Tribes"). There's also a message for women, the true mothers of the earth, reminding them of the importance of serving the Father ("African Woman").

To be appreciated by any reggae fan, this album's message is for everyone. It is rare to find reggae music today which sends a message to the true Israelites who are scattered amongst the nations - including those Israelites who do not yet know who they are. It is for those who want to give praises to the Almighty in Truth.

DO YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE? FIND THE WAY!
Wake Up, World!
