Album Notes
"90 Proof" is a new collection of original Classic Rock and Blues style songs written by the Idlewilde band. A wide range of song styles include rockabilly on "Telecaster" ,moody SRV styled guitar blues on "Darker Shade of Blue", the 80's power ballad "I'm Back", and an incredible 1960's 'trip' down memory lane with "Damn that Rock and Roll". This is Idlewilde's third album, and is unquestionably the best yet!

A Super Album
On first listen I was impressed and didn't skip a tune. Great vocals and musicians. My favorite song keeps changing as I continue to enjoy this album. I could hear rock & roll influences in the songs and at the same time they are unique - it's them!

A Super Album
A great album with strong vocals and musicians. On first listen I didn't skip a tune and my favorite keeps changing as I continue to enjoy the album. You can hear some rock & roll influences, but they are themselves.

Solid Album
I enjoyed this album. Has a nice old school rock feel to it. These guys definitely know how to make an album in their basement . Quality of the recording is excellent as well. If I heard any of these songs on the radio I would have assume they had been playing on air for years.

In one word - Wow!
I absolutely love this album! It has an awesome Southern Rock/Blues feel to it and I can't help but tap my toe along with the music. My favorite track is Red Clay. It is a catchy tune and I love to sing along with it. I also really enjoy Darker Shade of Blue. And how could you not love the Bonus Track - The Whiskey Song, which in my opinion is an instant classic and should be sung with friends whenever you go to a pub. I can't wait to see what this group comes up with next!

Great album, buy one for you and one for a friend. I got one for myself, my brother borrowed it, showed it to a friend of his who borrowed it.... well, it hasn't come back to me yet, looks like I'll have to get another!

Great Tunes
I have all 3 Idlewilde CDs and this one is the best. A great mix of music with a wide variety of musical voices. I especially like Damn That Rock & Roll with the huge organ intro and the twisted psychedelic era lyrics. The final song is a curious glance at the band's personality behind the scenes. If only I could get my hands on the whiskey in those empty bottles to enjoy with the song.
