Album Notes

Idril Jean is a Canadian author, composer and interpreter, born with the name of Annie Charron, in Sherbrooke which is in the province of Quebec, and who is evolving into the pop-rock style with blues and country influences. She realized at a later stage in life that she loves to sing and her creative side allows her to write songs and compose melodies.

She meets certain obstacles along her journey that caused the reality of her pursuit in singing to be put pushed aside for several years. Then, one day, something triggered her inner passion which led her to unfold her old writings, and confidently recommit herself to her music and perfect it. She becomes determined to go further in her efforts to develop her passion.

She then contacts a recording studio, the studio ECHO, located at Drummondville where she sends out one of her song excerpts. The studio was so impressed by her voice and was convinced by the authenticity of her music. From the first meeting, their affinity for this style of music is revealed.

Her profound vision starts to form inside of her and she feels inspired to pursue the creation of new songs with the studio.

Her first album EP “LETS GET CRAZY” comes out November 2016, and a second one as strong will follow shortly after…
