ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
"We cross the sky by starlight"

Is there nowhere else to go? Or nowhere else you'd rather be? The latest album from New York based I Hate This Place explores what happens when we get torn between situations, places and people.

"I saw you out there through the glass on the screen"

Awash in producer/synth player/singer/songwriter Sean Nerney's glitch-pop influenced electronics and captivating lyrics, Nowhere Else is a collection of songs about the spaces between us, distances crossed, lines drawn, losses, gains.

"She comes through in technicolor"

The album was recorded across three continents and over the Internet with the help of several talented musicians, none of whom ever met all the others and were never all in the same country at the same time. The result is a very special collaboration, music that is unified and yet miles away from itself.

"And I see perfection in all her strange dichotomies"

In addition to the album's 10 original songs, pop the disc into your computer's CD-ROM drive to enjoy special bonus features, including the music video for "5Point5" (a Macintosh running the latest version of QuickTime is recommended).
