ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
From the streets of Illinois, to the booth in South Carolina, Immortal Method (R.m.e.r., Voicebox911, and Psymin Pheenixx) has paid their dues. Being threw the struggle and many challenges in their lives they've maintained and stayed focused to stick with what they love to do, and that's expressing themselves threw their music. The group out of waukegan, Illinois (The woods of chicago) started off with 12 members deep and ended up with 3 strong, over the years, R.m.e.r., Voicebox911, and Psymin Pheenixx . They started off in highschool, doing talent shows, and even getting airplay on the radio on a local college radio station (89.3 f.m). Psymin Pheenixx (24) the founder of the group, the producer, started producing at the age 15 producing, and maintaining his skills on the mic for 11 yrs plus, and producing hottness, his main focus was always to put out a good song. Psymin Pheenixx is versitile with his style, adapting to the environment the beat is in, and spitts to get stress off his chest, he is also a battle rapper.
With that being said, it always motivated r.m.e.r. (his younger brother)(21) to keep his skills up, and be creative with his flows.r.m.e.r an immortal method veteran spitts about life, the struggle, and what he's witnessed in his younger years.
Voicebox911 (25), out of Tampa, Florida moved to Illinois at the age 15 and met up with s. phoenix on a school bus, they talked about hip hop and their influences and basically came up with the idea to form up a group.voicebox911, a versitile mc, expressing his art threw battles and life rhymes, he makes the backbone of immortal method.
Both Psymin Pheenixx and R.m.e.r. joined the military, Psymin Pheenixx (marines), R.m.e.r. (army), left music alone and fought for the country in operation Iraqi Freedom, with hip hop in their blood they couldn't leave it alone. They both made it back, and started recording music whenever the military didn't have them doing anything.
That's when they came up with the album live wire, with voicebox911 being absent from this project, s. phoenix and r.m.e.r. still represented him as if he was there with them.the album features production from Psymin Pheenixx, dirty knocc, and collaborations with core. The album also features guest appearances from artists such as core, terror, and jooks.
