ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
INDIGO was an Austrian "Fantasy Rock" band of keyboarder and songwriter Gerald Krampl, who was also the former leader of the well known prog rock band "Kyrie Eleison" in the 70´s.

This album was the last official released CD in 1993, and was at this time only available in specialist stores in Europe. At this time Indigo was a mere studio project of Gerald Krampl (keyboards, vocals, programming) with the help of Robert Altmann on guitars and two additional guest musicians. The music is a very melodic prog rock with sometimes critical lyrics, based on keyboards and "Steve Hackett like" guitars. Long scaled compositions as well as shorter tracks stand side by side on this album, also likely to compare with the works of Marillion, Camel, Genesis etc.

Musicians:
Gerald Krampl - keyboards, vocals, programming
Robert Altmann - guitars
Guests:
Angela Strasser - choir voices
Dieter Müller - wind synth
