Album Notes
Born in Transylvania, Ingrid started her singing career a little before she turned two, by entertaining all of the passengers on the bus to and from her grandma's house. At about the same time, she'd decided she was going to play the piano and for the next 4 years until she was admitted with honors into the music school, she pretended to play the piano on every surface she encountered.

Having her first piano was a treat beyond delight and from the time she started music school until she graduated high school she played and sang incessantly.

"My parents and I lived on the 8th floor of a standard-issue government building which housed over one thousand people in tiny apartments. The baby grand piano was carried up the 8 flights of steps and took over my entire room. For the next 14 years or so, our neighbors were subjected to my hours of practice, but no one ever complained."

Ingrid pursued a degree in law in Romania before she moved to the USA.

"I don't want to say that I felt like a fish out of water being without music and burying myself in law and economics books for three years, because some of the material was interesting, but coming to America and going back to my first love, music, did make me feel at home."

Ingrid got a music degree in vocal performance from California Baptist University, studied at California State University, Fullerton for a master's degree, taught voice and piano at her alma mater and performed classical pieces at several venues around Southern California.

In 2008, she met Forest Sun, the heart and mind and engine behind Painted Sun Records. Ingrid has been touring and working with Forest ever since. In 2009, she sang and played accordion on Forest's children's record "Just for Fun," - best album and best song ("Trampoline") winner in 2010 with Kids Music Award and International Songwriting Competition Nominee. You can hear her featured on "All the Pretty Little Horses."

January 1st, 2010, Ingrid releases her first solo single, "Grandma's House," co-written with Forest Sun. They wrote the song in Transylvania, Romania while they were visiting Ingrid's family.

"The song started with a dream I had had the night before. It was a sweet moving experience revisiting those memories of one of my favorite places and times in my childhood."

2011 marks the release of the Bob Dylan single "Tomorrow is a Long Time," sung as a duet with Forest Sun.

October 2012 Forest Sun's album "Just Begun" recorded at Wavelab Studios in Tucson AZ is released. Ingrid had an active role in singing harmonies and vocal producing.

March 1st, 2014, Painted Sun Records releases Ingrid's new single, "Someday," recorded at Wavelab Studios. The song has its debut on the Swedish compilation, The Golden Demon released by Hemifran Music.
