ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Designed for use in demonstrations with the Movement for Black Lives and Black Lives Matter, Ionne's "A Vision for Our Lives" is a Pop R&B song that contains a call-and-response chant to remind activists, allies, and the community at large of the "Movement for Black Lives Platform". The song began as a design thinking project aimed at using music to lead social change. Writer/producer Maurice "Ionne" Harris leveraged his relationships with Union Institute & University, the Root Social Justice Center, and longtime friend and collaborator Jennifer Fouché to realize this original and very useful recording.

Credits: Written, produced, recorded and mixed by Maurice Ionne. Music and backing vocals performed by Maurice Ionne. Lead vocal performed by Jennifer Fouché. Recording of lead vocal engineered by David Vogel at Dubway Studios, NYC. Mastered by Herb Powers Jr. at Powers Mastering, Inc.
