Album Notes
"When you listen to IPR, integrity washes over you like lava, with the pleasing familiarity of a medium-roast coffee and a sensible muffin..."

We love public radio. We love NPR, PRI, & MPR. We are fans of All Things Considered, Morning Edition, Car Talk, This American Life, Fresh Air, and Prarie Home Companion. We like the commentaries, the features, the independent member station programs. We love them all dearly. But we also think they're begging to be made fun of. So here we are.

"Thanks for the only proper public radio parody I've ever heard."

-Michael E. Schrand, Program Director
KWMU, St. Louis, MO

"Still holding my sides and gasping for air between fits of laughter... It is a parody, right? I mean it sounds so, well, real. You've got the NPR sound nailed."

- Road Rage Radio

"I just want you to know that the entire staff of the Buffalo, NY NPR affiliate is loving IPR! It's echoing through the hallways!"

- Kara Sweet, WBFO

Irrational Public Radio will give you an elevated moral standing and an exhaustive understanding of the human condition.*
