Album Notes
"Fun Yener Zayt Lid" is a setting of a poem by Russian-Canadian Yiddish poet Rokhl Korn. In it she imagines the world that still exists on the other side of the poem. On the other side of the poem there is a thatch-roofed house in an orchard, with pine trees standing guard. On the other side of the poem there is narrow lane, and someone walks there lost in time, with barefoot steps. On the other side of the poem wonders can still happen, even in this gray and wounded time. On the other side of the poem, my mother can still stand on the threshold lost in thought, and call me in like she did long ago: "Enough play; can't you see it's night?"

Keyboard and Lead Vocals: Irwin Keller
Background Vocals: Lorenzo Valensi
Acoustic Bass: Jeff Martin
Recorded at Studio E, Sebastopol California. Engineered by Jeff Martin.

This setting is dedicated to the memory of Marilyn Keller.
