Album Notes
ITO is an original band out of Easton Pennsylvania. Formed in 2016 by Galen Deery (ukulele and vocals), his brother Simon Deery (bass), and childhood friend Nick DiJesso (drums). All getting an early start in the world of music by being students of the School of Rock program. Over the summer of 2017 ITO consisted of Galen, Nick, and a new bass player Thalia Colon, Keyboard Matt Miller-Brown, and Lead Guitar Will Coccia. This line up produced the first short album "Barefoot". Since the album release, the band split up and then reformed bringing Simon back in, and a new drummer Michael Lear. With wild energy and a strong connection between the three, the music has taken a leap forward.

The name ITO, came from Galen's Grandfather who from birth has nicknamed him "Galenito" so they thought it fit well. It recently was made into the acronym "I. Travel. Onward."

Using sounds from India, Africa, and roots reggae, ITO experiments with combining genres to make the music as assessable to everyone as possible. Described as "psychedelic rock, folk, soul/spirit jam." Described by Simon Deery (Bass) as "funky, modern, psychedelic rock". They use a variety of percussion, harmonium, didgeridoo, and mantra, mixed with rock riffs and heavy bass lines. They hope to create a space for listeners to receive a sense of healing.
