Bio: Jabe Beyer has had numerous film & television placements, including HBO’s hit series True Blood, and FOX’s Lie To Me. In 2007, he won the BMI Music Maker Songwriting Competition and was nominated for two Boston Music Awards as well as a nomination in Boston’s WFNX FM Best Music Poll. With over 300 songs in is catalog, his namesake band, JABE, won the Abe Oleman Songwriting Award from The Songwriting Hall of Fame as well as a Boston Music Award for Outstanding Debut Album. Five self-produced, self-released releases, along with extensive U.S. and European tours earned JABE a reputation as one of Boston's best and hardest working live acts. The Boston Globe hailed Jabe Beyer as "a leader in the roots music renaissance," and Jam Magazine listed the 2-disc album Drama City at #2 in their Best 100 Albums of The Last 10 Years. Beyer's side project, The Benders, bloomed into alt-country-bluegrass favorites, embraced nationally by the press and a hardcore fanbase. "Live at the Family Wash" is Jabe's 6th official album release.
