How Are We Doing And Who Will Tell Us?

by Jack O' The Clock

Majestic junk folk. A jangly mix of concert-hall agility, acoustic rock drive, and junk shop scouring. Voice and narrative-driven songs, performed on a wide range of instruments, that manage to be both catchy and strange.

ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
"Jack O' The Clock are an unbelievably great band, Damon Waitkus is an extraordinarily courageous composer, and this is some of the freshest and most surprising music I've heard since, well, their first record. Hallelujah!" –Fred Frith

Like licking a spoon clean
I like the idea of taking a boat ride on a balmy Sunday and what would I be listening to under my tin roof? Jack O’ The Clock’s newest album “How Are We Doing And Who Will Tell Us?” The band keeps churning out one strong song after another as they flex their constant experimental limbs.

The music is confident hitting you in a myriad of places. It’s eclectic ranging from haunting; loud and brassy; harmonic; to some gfunk action. At times it goes to the core like licking a spoon clean. How are we doing begs the question… is anyone OUT there? The answer is we’re here and we think you’re doing damn fine.
