Album Notes
After releasing three full-length albums with his previous band, Vesch, Jackson took hold of his own reins. He writes, arranges, produces, engineers, mixes, and plays every instrument in his upcoming release "For You"

"It is exceedingly rare to find an artist that can effectively convey his music well without the help of other musicians," said Ty Ford in his cover-featured Music Monthly review of Salad Days (2007). "Attempts are usually inbred and one-dimensional. From a one-room studio outside of Annapolis, Sean Jackson has figured out how to do it."

Jackson makes a smooth transition to his live show, bringing his auditory vision flawlessly to life with the assistance of bassist Mike Shumann and drummer Dave Stuart, who fill out the band onstage. Jackson's live show is characterized by a gamut of emotion, as the lush, pristine recordings translates into raw energy and passion on the stage. There is a palpable energy that is created by this trio which rather nicely compliments the recorded material. You get a little something different at a Sean Jackson show than you get on a record. Namely, some humor, some falling down on stage, a few tongue-in-cheek cover songs and hopefully classic rock'n roll attitude and delivery.

Fans are assured at least several songs from Jackson's previously released CDs as well as many new tracks that are part of the forthcoming CD "For You." But all Sean Jackson's songs speak the universal language of Rock and/or Roll. Sean Jackson will haunt you and rock you, all at the same time. You can catch Sean and the band live in in the Greater DC Metropolitan area, and see for yourself!
