ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
The Shack Sessions is Jackson's first album leading his new band, The Rhythmtones. They're joined by special guests Essex diva Laura B, Steve West Weston on harmonica, Vic Collins of legendary Southend band the Kursaal Flyers on pedal steel; and on sax, Westcliff's own Graeme Turner, whose credits include a stint with The Drifters. All 12 tracks have been penned by Jackson himself, continuing a career of prolific songwriting that began with his first band, Rent Party, in 1982.
