Damn Fine Bluegrass!
This CD has hardly left my player since it showed up in my mailbox. There isn't a dull moment. From the ripping first track "All This Time" to the energetic "Mountain Dew" and all the way to the soulful "Train 24" this CD is a must have for fans of contemporary bluegrass. My only complaint is that I will have to make do with the disc since it doesn't look like they will be coming thorough my neck of the woods anytime soon. Buy this CD!

It's goooood
The CD moves, especially on the instrumentals... Vocal-songs are good too... If you're a fan of other newer string-based groups, like Yonder Mountain String Band, you should pick this up. Just down-home good music.

If you're just aching to belt out a "Yeeeehawwwww!" and kick up yer heels to the sweet lovin' sound of bluegrass and country folk, Christmas has come early for you. Hailing from one of the most unlikely places, Portland, Oregon, only adding to your sheer shock at the down home authenticity of these pickin' boys, Jackstraw will make you giddy with the lickety split, fingery fun. We might not have them Appalachians up here, but you'd never know. Just see if your feet can keep up.

Robert Lee Johnson -- The Guitar Man

Love the song "Train 24" on this CD, Some good singing and Pickin.
The Song "Train 24" is very soulful with some good Lead singing, mandolin Picking, and I love the Flat Top Guitar on this song.

Bluegrass is alive and well in PNW
Oregon's best (only?) bluegrass combo does it again! This band deserves as much recognition as any "Newgrass" band, especially if they continue to make music this good. Buy all their albums!!! DO IT NOW!!!
