ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Jacob Rountree is a 3rd year Mechanical Enginnering student at Montana State University. His studies are a rigerous balance
along with his musical career. He asks that you listen and share his first album, The Common Hour, to allow his dream of a musical career become more tangable. The Common Hour is his first albulm that was self written, self composed, self produced and self funded over the year of 2017. With a heavy focus on poetic lyrics, his songs are said to inspire pure, organic emotions even from the best of us. He currently plays around Montana, and Washington while finishing his college aducation and plans on touring once finished.
Zocalo, a venue in Bozeman, Montana wrote this bio for an upcoming show,
"What is love? Is it some kind of all encompassing emergent emotional event resulting from the necessary cooperation amongst all biological life? Or is it just a basic chemical reaction in the brain, hitting hard then slowly fading away?

Here at Zocalo, we know a lot about love. Still, to put it into words can be a bit of a trick. That's why we have Jake Rountree - a young man presumably raised in some kid of Hogwarts-style magical school where he learned to transfer 100% raw and organic love into waves of sound, pure and unfiltered.

Plus we have mimosas and home-made sake cocktails, plus all kinds of beer and wine. So whether you want real love or just tasty beverages, Zocalo has your back.

Jacob will be playing from 7-9 pm, but if you get there early you might just get to meet him!"

If that doesnt say enough mayb listening to his lyrics will!
Please check out his debut albulm, The Common Hour.
