Album Notes
SriMati is a Southern California based singer-songwriter with a spiritual ,healing focus, and a personal yet universal story behind her songs.

“Jai Home” is the follow up to her emotional debut album “Mother of Mine”. The second release is the final six songs that she wrote and recorded with her sons over a seven year period of their childhood. On this album, SriMati continues to channel songs reflecting her spiritual path, her life’s joys, and it’s struggles, yet, the overall feeling of this album carries an optimism and expression of the love found in community and deep connection. The music is accessible in its simplicity, and powerfully penetrating.

The album was co-produced by the entire band “SriMati”, Julie Piatt and her two sons, Tyler and Trapper along with Brad Swanson of Swansound Music. Tyler, accompanies her on guitar, bass guitar, piano and background vocals. Trapper is on drums, percussion and backround vocals. Her brother, Stuart Mathis of the Wallflowers, arranged “New Earth” Their father, Larry Mathis, age 90 contributes a sweet harmonica performance on this track. Mark Sholtez, plays keys and Uke on Bee Loved. Candy Lehrman plays violin on Ramayana Lullaby and Bee Loved.

You will be touched and healed by SriMati.
