Album Notes
Jamie Aaron Kelley's 2nd album, "The Sun Also Rises, Vol. 1", recieved two honors in 2006: voted one of the top rockabilly albums of 2006, and one of the songs written by Jamie for the album recieved #1 rockabilly song of 2006!

And on the heels of that release comes the highly-anticipated Vol. 2!! Also recorded at the legendary Sun Studio in Memphis, TN, This album has more of a loose and rockin' feel than Vol. 1, blending blues, country, 50's-style pop into a rockabilly style with the music-making mindset that made the best of the 50's rockers so good... but it also boasts a more modern mix to give a kick to your modern surround system or your car audio system.

With songs done before by greats such as Ray Charles, Hank Williams Sr., Red Foley, Little Walter, Bill Monroe, Hank Snow, Howlin' Wolf, and even the Ames Brothers..... but all done in a style that's all Jamie. His albums and shows have been selling out in the US, Canada, and Japan, and the momentum of this singer/artist/actor/performer just keeps growing!

Don't miss out on your own taste of the "Memphis Fire"!

Memphis Fire is "Hot"
Jamie gives these great Rockabilly songs just the kick needed to make each his own! Each has his undeniable signature style! "You're So Fine" live in concert is a show stopper!! Great Album! Jamie, good luck with the JPF Awards this year! Hope you and this album walk away with the top honors in the Rockabilly Album category!! This album certainly deserves it!! Fantastic job!!

Memphis Fire is Hot
This album really rocks!! Easy to see why it's nominated for Best Rockabilly Album with the 2009 JPF awards! Good luck, Jamie! This album deserves the recognition! 'You're So Fine' has to be seen live in concert for the full effect!! Dynamite!

I have all 3 too. Great stuff
Really good stuff. Nice to have this and that recent Elvis CD called Roots Revolution where they slightly updated the backing tracks on Elvis' Louisiana Hayride shows--the only source of Elvis singing Tweedlee Dee and Maybellene. Fun to listen to back to back with these.

Memphis Fire
The music is great, wish there were more artists singing this style of music.
