Album Notes
Jed's A Millionaire's 2nd full-length CD titled "Haunt" was released early 2004, and along with their initial full length CD release of "Kachina Theater" in 2002 have received extensive Arizona radio airplay ("Began", "Make" from Haunt, "She Says", "Shady Side of Town" from Kachina Theater), as well as very favorable reviews (see below).

Formed by front man, singer/songwriter R. Shawn Harrington, Haunt's soaring vocals and truly heart-wrenching lyrics makes this a "must have" for any rock fan who wants great melodies in their music. Guitarist Aaron Ploechl, Bassist Mike WIllinger and Drummer Jason Roedl complete the line up.

Though their style of music has been difficult to categorize by their fans - you would hear an americana/roots/alternative sense all wound up in highly melodic straight ahead "rock" sound. The strong vocals/lyrics, rapturous guitar, and dynamic drums often draw comparisons to a diverse group of today's top rock acts. Their intense and infectious sound has gained much attention in the Southwestern US..

While incredibly polished in the studio (and produced by the incomparable Michael Blue of Revolver Recordings, Westlake Village, CA), they bring a powerful edgy, honest sound to their live performances.

Jed's was winner of 2003 Phoenix New Times "Most Enjoyable Singer", Budweiser "Band of the Month" Feb 2004, Winner 2002 Phoenix's "Best Alternative Rock Band", nominee for AIM's "Best Rock Band" award, and a 2002 National Finalist for Jim Beams "Best New Rock Band" Search.

Jimmy Magahern, NEW TIMES, Jan 2004
"A first-class collection produced by Michael Blue @ Revolver Records ... evocative artwork by Eddie Shea ... perched for major-label success."

Here's a contemporary/pop rock band that knows how to use various styles from studio jam rock to the pure sound of just a piano and acoustic guitar. Lead singer, R. Shawn Harrington has a big time voice with clarity, power, and airiness (not sure that's a word, but you know what I mean). J.A.M. also mixes their harmonies effectively. Pick up one or both of these CD's and you'll become a Jed Head.
Haunt - 4 Stars
Kachina Theater - 3 Stars

Haunt, the second release from Arizona's Jed's A Millionaire, is one hell of a break-up record. While some albums of this kind resort too quickly to barroom bravado or candlelit whimperings, Haunt does neither.

Sure, you can taste the heartbreak behind each guitar chord and smell the sweat and tears that shape each couplet uttered from R. Shawn Harrington's mouth, but the record still feels more like a celebration of growth than a grieving of love. It's there during "All," which chronicles the moment of letting go, it's there during "Began," the futile plea for reconciliation, and it's there during "Ghost," the big kiss-off to still-lingering memories......

A Haunting Journey of Lyrics and Verse! Buy it today!
The title "Haunt" accurately depicts the entirity of this cd. You will be haunted by the strong lyrics, vocals, and melodies of this rocking album.
Jed's has matured musically and the band has created a cd that will stay in your player long after most favorites have faded from memory. The lyrics transcend their outward phrasing and take on greater meaning to any listener. Jed's infectious music draws you in quickly and then slowly takes you hostage on an unexpected lyrical journey.
This third release from Jed's moves the band further toward their destiny as a national favorite. With very little luck and promotion, this album should be certified platinum.
Don't believe me.... buy the album.... now....

Enjoyable Listen
I love the sound. I spent a few days in AZ and heard a bit on the radio. Now I'm probably one of the few attempting to spread the word in the Midwest. Lyrics are strong, melody and instrumentation is stronger. If you are looking for music that will entice you t o turn the volume up high and sing along, I highly recommend Haunt. The only think keeping my review from being five stars is a few songs that to me are less than the rest.

Unlike any kind of music that has been put out in decades !!! Pure Music Gold
Ive heard every thing put out by JAM This is by far the best Music Shawn Harrington has ever bled from his soul. Wish, is such a unbeleiveable throwback from a time when melody ment somthing. Ghost, gives me chills on the inside, better than any thing on the raideo today. and if you can listen to Someone and not feel every emotion MR Harrington was feeling when he wrote it you have ice in your veins . outstanding work of Art Thankyou Jeds A Millioniare

Haunt is a HOT album...
This shit is so hot it's on fire. No wonder it's from Arizona. These guy's are one of the tightest group's in rock and roll history. Past platinum, they should be the value of uranium.

Soaring vocals, incredible melodies and lyrics
"Haunt" is truly a brilliant story told from seemingly the very deepest part of singer/songwriter Shawn Harrington's being. Each song works independently, with some wonderful radio-worthy highlights in "Found" (#2) "Began" (#4) and "Make" (#11), but as a whole the entire album, with its beautiful melodies and soaring vocals, paints both a bleak yet inspiring picture for this listener.

While best categorizing this as mainstream might turn off those so committed to the “indie” sound, you’ll find the combination of this guitar driven yet highly sensitive material just too good to ignore. A very worthy spin on the player. Mine hasn’t stopped for 4 weeks.

shawns voice haunts my soul
