ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
This project is a sampling manifestation of thoughts that James Bowman III has had for many years, ranging from his personal struggles to wondering if his efforts were sufficient to provide his children with the life education necessary to thrive. God has blessed Bowman with an environment rich with creativity. Enrolling at Oakwood College (now Oakwood University) in 1981, where musical legends such as Mervyn Warren, Bryan McKnight, Take 6, A Special Blend, Wintley Phipps, Angela Brown, Janice Chandler-Eteme and others also attended, was a providential experience that postured Bowman for the season in his life where delving into music became more than a hobby; music became a way of life. This musical journey encapsulates an intense life experience. Bowman is eternally grateful for his blessed life and is honored to share thoughts, via music and lyric.
