Album Notes
"Word For Word" was written by Pam Barlow and Janet Minto (the former Mrs. Van Morrison, aka Janet Planet) and was sung by Jimmy Dewar, the former lead singer from the original Robin Trower Band. Jimmy was the vocalist on classic Trower tracks like "Bridge Of Sighs","Daydream","I Can't Wait Much Longer","Hannah","Long Misty Days" etc... and on his very rare solo CD "Stumbledown Romancer". Jimmy sadly passed away in 2002. His voice was transferred from the original demo tape recording of "Word For Word" done in 1986, and the music was updated to master quality in 2015 to suit the song and to be worthy of his brilliant vocal performance by Fred Sampson and John Rewind.
