ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Jupiter has 63 known moons each with a unique character of its own whether its Ganymede’s cracked icy surface or Io’s volcanic plumes.

This CD is unique as it incorporates actual radio frequency transmissions from Jupiter woven into each improvisational composition performed by classically trained James D. Taylor Jr. on meticulously sampled analog synthesizers taking the listener on a sonic voyage to our solar systems largest planet to visit each of its eight inner moons.

We must offer a hearty thank you to NASA for allowing the use of the radio frequency transmissions used in these recordings.
